Saturday, June 30 is a National Day of Protest against the Trump administration’s continued separation of immigrant families and the detainment of immigrant children. Currently there are 600 rallies and counting scheduled across the country.
The rallies are to begin at 11 a.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the rallies. Everyone is encouraged to wear white in a show of solidarity.
Three rallies are planned in the Capital Region:
Albany — 11 a.m. at the NYS Capitol (meet at West Capital Park)
Saratoga Springs — 11 a.m. at Congress Park
Glens Falls — 1:30 p.m. at 136 Glen Street
