Join Assistant Professor Matthew Zembo for a May 2020 France tour

Hello all,

Once again I will be leading an excursion to Europe in May of 2020.

This year, I will be traveling to France to visit Paris and the Battlefields of World War I and II. This is not an official Hudson Valley Community College function, so this trip is open to students, staff, friends, and the community at large. These trips have been fun in the past due to the diversity of the individuals choosing to travel with me.

This trip should be interesting as we will start in Paris and then travel throughout Northern France visiting Verdun, the Somme, and the beaches at Normandy (Yes! D-Day!!)  to name just a few of the highlights. As you look at the itinerary, be aware the we usually end up doing much more as we drive around and stop at more sites along the way. Also see the pricing information at the bottom of the itinerary. If we get more people to go on this trip, the pricing could go down considerably. At the moment there are 15 spots available. Get that deposit in and save your spot! There will be an additional $175 for the bus from the campus to Logan Airport in Boston.

Any questions, please feel free to contact me at m.zembo@hvcc.edu or my office phone, (518) 629-4995

My office hours are Monday and Wedneday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Thanks!
