Are you looking for something fun and exciting to do on campus? Why not join the Hudson Valley Chess Club?
The Chess Club is a social, informational, instructional and sometimes competitive meeting place where people come together through chess. The Chess Club offers a wide variety of activities, including instruction, rated games and recreational play. Every member is important to the success of the club and the chess club cannot exist without active participation from students like you.
Chess club introduces members to the fun and benefits of playing chess, and can provide exposure to the wider world of competitive chess. If you’re new to chess and have never played the game, we are ready to teach you the basics of the game. If you are experienced and like a challenge, we offer competitive games as well. There is something for everyone.
We plan to offer to offer tournaments and a chance to win prizes throughout the school year.
