Hudson Valley Community College will be celebrating Homecoming 2018 on Saturday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept. 23. Below are the scheduled events.
Saturday, Sept. 22
Distinguished Alumni Awards Brunch
9 to 11 a.m. in Bulmer Telecommunications Center, Meeting Rooms 2 & 3
As part of this year’s Homecoming events, the Hudson Valley Community College Alumni Association will be honoring four alumni with the 2018 Distinguished Alumni Award. This award recognizes members of our alumni whose commitment to service and achievement bring distinction to themselves and to the college.
The following will be honored at the brunch:

Alumni, students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy food and beverages prior to the football game with Hudson Valley’s new president.
Homecoming Football Game: Vikings vs. East Coast Prep
1 p.m. Kickoff at the Outdoor Athletic Complex
Alumni, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy refreshments at our “Alumni Social” tent to celebrate “50 Years of Football.”
Sunday, Sept. 23
10th Annual Race Away Stigma 5K Race and Fun Walk
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Student Pavilion
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., race/walk begins at 10 a.m. and awards and barbecue begin at 11 a.m. Registration is $25 by Sept. 14 and $30 the day of the race. Registration for students from local colleges is $10 and free to all HVCC students. T-shirts will be handed out based on availability, along with raffle prizes and post-race snacks, which are included in the fee.
