Have you considered the accelerated pace at which robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence are expanding into just about every industry? The faculty at Hudson Valley Community College has developed an innovative and exciting project-based learning Robotics course for students to learn the fundamental techniques for representing robots that are enabled to learn and adaptively perform physical tasks in the real world in collaboration with humans.

Students will be introduced to the theoretical framework and a wealth of hands-on emerging technology and research opportunities in autonomous intelligent robotic systems and real-time systems in our state-of-the-art robotics lab at TEC-SMART (Training and Education Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing and Alternative and Renewable Technologies) in Malta, NY.

The course provides significant innovative programming assignments using Java for the AR Parrot Drone environments, Python for the humanoid Robot, and more. The CISS 180 Introduction to Robotics (4 Credits) class is forming now.
