Kenny Tremont’s Racing Career

Kenny Tremont, assistant professor of Automotive Technical Services, won his final hometown race of his storied career at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Saturday night, Aug. 26. In true storybook fashion, Lebanon Valley is the speedway where Kenny won his first race over four decades ago.

After more than 40 years of winning races and championships, and earning induction into state and national Halls of Fame, Kenny has decided to call it a career. However, he has a few more races to go this season and hopefully a few more wins to add to his historic resume.

To honor his final laps, the Super DIRTcar Series Feature on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway, will be 115 laps and pay $11,500 to win – a nod to his famed #115.

Those of you who know Kenny, know he is one of the nicest, most genuine people around. Please join us at Albany-Saratoga Speedway to support him as he transitions into his new role of guiding his son, Montgomery, in carrying on the Tremont Family racing tradition.
