Free workshop: Scientific Calculator
Join us for an informative, 50-minute workshop in the Learning Assistant Center (LAC), located on the lower level of the Marvin Library Learning Commons:
Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.
You will learn how to perform these basic operations:
- Find the reciprocal, square root of a number
- Use of parentheses
- Multi-step calculations using the order of operations
- Use the fraction key to perform basic operations
- Use the +/- key to change the sign of a number
- Use of scientific notation
