The lacrosse team (1-2) defeated nationally ranked #9 Broome Community College (0-1), 10-7, on Saturday afternoon.
Hudson Valley led by one goal heading into the fourth, when goalie Andrew Reilly (Bethlehem/Bethlehem) shut out the hornets in the quarter to lead the Vikings to a three-goal victory. Reilly recorded 20 saves and Mason Agosto (Cary Grove/Cary Grove, IL) led the team with five goals. David Wilber (Columbia/East Greenbush) chipped in three goals, and Paul Bennett (Glens Falls/Glens Falls) and Jon Gavitt (Columbia/North Greenbush) each added a goal in the win.
The lacrosse team hosts Tompkins-Cortland Community College on Wednesday, March 14 at 4 p.m.
