The Lady Vikings improved its win streak to six games, beating Schenectady County Community College, 88-38. The Lady Vikings jumped out to a 27-9 lead to open the game and never looked back.
Erica Houle (Shaker, Latham) converted on five three-pointers, leading the way with 19 points. Kelly Kell (Kingston, Kingston) recorded a double-double, with 11 points and 10 assists, and Laurel Jicha (Hannibal, Hannibal) also chipped in 17 points.
The Lady Vikings improved its record to 9-5, while the Lady Royals of Schenectady fell to 1-8.
The women’s basketball team’s next game is today at home against Tompkins Cortland Community College. The team will play at 1 p.m. in the first game of a men’s and women’s double header.
