Leadership in the Internet Age, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
The recent pandemic introduced the biggest shift in culture in decades. Overnight we collectively struggled with learning new technologies and finding paths to success using alternate routes. Within this change, we had to readjust to changes in leadership approaches as well. The board room meeting became a Zoom room and professors no longer knew their students’ names by their faces.
Evolving into this new post-pandemic age, we take the lessons we learned about how and why we communicate and integrate them back in our traditional lives. For the most part, things seem to have gone back to normal, but we would be remiss if we did not take the time to incorporate what we’ve learned into our leadership identity. In this lecture we explore those changes and how to make use of the lessons we have learned.

Self-Awareness and Situational Leadership Theory, Oct., 23 at 2 p.m.
People often look at leadership as an external experience, the act of motivating and guiding other people, but the foundations of leadership are cultivated from within. In this workshop we will be discussing habits of successful leaders and applying that to our roles as college students and burgeoning young leaders in an uncertain world.
