“A Year Of Nothing New: Money Management for Today’s College Student” will be the topic of discussion at the next student leadership development workshop scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, March 5 in the Student Leadership Conference Center, Siek Campus Center, room 202.
Ronni Jones, associate director of Financial Aid, will facilitate a discussion on financial aid and scholarship offerings, including employment opportunities. Suggestions on how students can conserve their expenses while pursuing their education will also be offered.
The leadership workshop is part of the year-long Lead Educate Achieve Develop @ Hudson Valley Community College (LEAD@HVCC) coordinated by the Student Activities Office. The weekly topics range from leadership development skills and critical conversations that debate some of the days current issues.
