LEAD@HVCC begins Monday, Jan. 25

The Lead.Educate.Achieve.Develop at Hudson Valley Community College — LEAD@HVCC — project is an opportunity for students to participate in a series of leadership development workshops and critical issues dialogues during the academic year.

Established during the fall 2014 semester, the weekly workshop series focuses on important topics that are designed to improve a student’s communication, organizational and leadership skills. The sessions also include current, critical issue topics where participants will be able to express opinions and hear diverse perspectives.

The spring workshop series begins Monday, Jan. 25 in room 150 of the Siek Campus Center from 3 to 4 p.m., immediately following the Student Senate meeting. Please encourage your students to attend. A full schedule of workshop topics will be posted on the Student Life website, digital monitors, and bulletin boards.

LEAD@HVCC is sponsored by the Student Activities Office and Student Senate. For more information, please contact Student Activities at 629-7348.
