What factors contribute to our willingness to hurt others? Could it be the influence of gender, stress and environment on violent behavior? Dr. Mihcelle Bannoura, associate professor in History, Humanities & Philosophy, will lead a discussion on this controversial issue that appears to be occurring with greater frequency in our society.
Dr. Bannoura will present her discussion at the next installment of the Lead. Educate. Achieve Develop. @ Hudson Valley Community College (LEAD@HVCC) at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 4, in the Siek Campus Center, room 150.
LEAD@HVCC, offered by the Student Activities Office and Student Senate, is a leadership skills development and critical concerns project, that offers weekly workshops to enhance leadership skills and encourage debate on today’s important issues. The campus community is invited.
