“Setting Priorities and Staying Focused” is the topic of discussion at the next student leadership development workshop scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, in the Student Leadership Conference Center, Siek Campus Center 202 (formerly the club corner).
Alfredo Balarin, assistant director of Student Life, will facilitate the discussion that will encourage students to set their goals high, maintain diligence in their educational pursuits, and the importance of finding a balance between academics, work, socialization, and relationships.
The leadership series is part of the Lead. Education. Achieve and Develop (LEAD@HVCC) series coordinated by the Student Activities Office. The weekly topics range from leadership development skills and critical conversations that debate some of the days current issues.
