Jump Start 2016 is proudly offered by the Learning Centers. Students will brush up on critical math skills in Using Your Calculator; strengthen writing skills with How to Write a Research Paper; develop effective note-taking skills in Lecture Note-Taking; and make the leap to Microsoft Office 2016 in Using Word to Format Academic Papers.
These and many other workshops will be provided during this three-day exploration into the world of college learning. Students can choose one or more, or choose them all!
As stated by the Learning Centers’ Learning Strategies Specialist, students will have the opportunity to “Catch the wave of success early and ride it throughout the semester.”
