The Voices: A Library Lecture Series Committee is pleased to present “Antarctica: Life on the Ice” by Susan Fox Rogers on Thursday, March 2 at 1 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.
Susan Fox Rogers, visiting associate professor of writing at Bard College, discusses her experiences living at McMurdo Station in Antarctica and on the ship Antigua in the Arctic. Rogers draws on historic narratives of polar exploration as she discusses life at the ends of the earth.
