I would like to thank the college community as whole to have supported, helped and nurtured me over the many years I have worked at the college. I feel honored to have been able to touch the lives of so many people, especially the students, during my years of teaching. I always feel happy and proud whenever I run into the students I have taught, who are now gainfully employed and contributing to the well-being of our society and world at large. Working at the college also has given me a wealth of knowledge which will influence whatever directions I take in the future.
I thank everyone who participated in and made it to my retirement party, as well as those who contributed to my school project in Uganda. It was an excellent event; the mixture of people from the college, my family and the community made it all very exciting. Although it made me feel emotional at times, I enjoyed it greatly. I will make sure that all contributions will be used for the project.
Thanks again,
Frederick W. Kakumba
