Please note that on Friday, Aug. 10, the primary search interface for finding library books in either print and electronic format will change. The library website’s “Find Books & Media” search tab will reflect the new interface. Students finishing final papers for summer classes on Friday will encounter this new search interface. Due to a variety of circumstances, the revision could not be postponed until the week of Aug. 13.

In July 2019, the Dwight Marvin Library will unveil a new platform for searching and for completing library activities such as requesting and renewing items. The new platform will also host most other “hidden” library staff activities related to loaning, cataloging, linking to, and acquiring library materials. Friday’s new book search interface is related to the transition to the new platform next summer. All SUNY libraries, including Hudson Valley’s, are adopting the new platform.
