The Dwight Marvin Library loaned more than 50 Chromebooks, WiFi hotspots and graphing calculators to students on the first day of classes.
Combined with fall semester lending that started earlier in August, more than 130 devices are currently on loan to students, increasing access to online classes, digital resources, and virtual assistance from all areas of campus.
Chromebooks and hotspots are free for current students and due to be returned on Dec. 15, the final day of the fall semester. Lending of graphing calculators is a new service begun in support of summer classes; six students already have a graphing calculator on loan for the fall semester.
Students may borrow equipment from the first floor service desk during regular library hours while supplies last. More information about the library’s equipment lending service is available online. This service is offered in partnership with Information and Instructional Technology (IIT).
