All are welcome to participate in the annual Literacy 5K Run/Walk to raise money and community support for Rensselaer County Literacy Volunteers. The fun-filled event is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, at the beautiful Corning Preserve along the Hudson River in downtown Albany.
The schedule of the day will be as follows:
8:30 a.m. – Registration/Packet Pick-Up
9:30 a.m. – Youth Mile – 14 and under; $10 ($15 race day)
10 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk – 15 and up; $30 ($35 race day)
11:15 a.m. – Awards Ceremony
This will be a great family day. All ages and abilities are welcome to take part in this community event to support English language literacy in your community! Snacks, t-shirts and SWAG bags will be available for all participants.
