Discover convenient methods to access databases, e-books, and apps. The new iPads available for three-hour loan within the Marvin Library will also be demonstrated.

Intermediate Excel Series
Once basic Excel skills are established in Intro to Excel, participants will explore some intermediate features designed to enhance understanding of how spreadsheets can be used, and to learn some new tricks to increase their efficiency in using Excel.

Looking for good health resources on the Internet? Wondering what’s the best database to use for researching health related topics? Attend this workshop to discover the wealth of medical information that’s available through library resources and on the Internet. Learn about the library’s new medical database DynaMed. Browse through the library’s subject guides on health, get hands on practice searching medical databases, and discover the best websites for health issues.

Advising Veterans for Advisors and Faculty

Academic advisors may be the first staff members that student veterans interact with in the college environment, after their tour of duty. These advisors are in the unique position of being able to offer significant assistance to vets at this early stage in their academic career. Pertinent challenges will be delineated and suggested strategies will be reviewed.
