TODAY: Students, Make a Difference in the Mental and Emotional Wellbeing Landscape on Campus – Now Zoom and New Time

Students – We need your voice to make a difference!!

Our campus continues to work with the Jed Foundation (JED), to focus on supporting student mental health and emotional wellbeing.  We are looking for students to join our JED Campus Advisor for a focus group on Wednesday, April 24, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. by Zoom.  The group will discuss what mental health looks like on campus, and how JED can support our campus community.  We want to hear what’s going well and what can be improved upon around mental health and wellness on campus. The conversations during this focus group will be anonymous but not confidential.  Following this focus group, JED will share testimonials and feedback with decision-makers on campus.

We are looking for up to 10 students that are interested in making a difference in the mental health and emotional wellbeing landscape on campus.  If you are interested and available on Wednesday, April 24, from 3 – 4:30 p.m., please contact Gayle Healy, JED campus lead, by email at g.healy@hvcc.edu to register and receive the Zoom information.  All participants will receive a thank you gift for their time.
