Mandatory compliance training

 

Annual mandatory compliance training courses will be sent out next week and must be completed during the next four months. The emails employees will receive should look familiar as the college has continued its relationship with Thomson Reuters.

Please open the link to all training courses in Google Chrome.

Four (4) training courses, including two (2) new courses, must be completed by Dec. 31, 2020:

  • Preventing Workplace Violence
  • Preventing Discrimination and Sexual Harassment with Employee Handbook sign-off 2020
  • Preventing Sexual Misconduct (Title IX)
  • HazCom/Right to Know

Information Technology Services will provide an Information Security course using a separate training platform. Be on the look out in the next few weeks for further instructions from ITS.

In addition, Fred Aliberti, director of Public Safety, may conduct site-specific Workplace Violence Training.

The Thomson Reuters online training courses will be distributed to all employees on Sept. 1, 2020 and must be completed by Dec. 31, 2020. Should an employee not complete these courses by the deadline, computer access will be removed until the course(s) are complete and they will not be able to remain on the College’s payroll. Please note: Training requirements may be updated by New York State or Hudson Valley Community College at any time. Additional courses may be added at a later date.
