On Friday, April 11, undergraduate and graduate students from colleges and universities across the region will be sharing their research during the third annual Capital Region STEM Poster Showcase. The event will take place in the McDonough Sports Complex from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all are welcome to attend.
As these bright young scientists showcase their talents, community members, employers, faculty, staff and local high school and college students will have an opportunity to view their work and learn about a variety of STEM topics. The posters will also be judged by industry and college representatives.
Executive Director of LifeSciencesNY Win Thurlow will be the event’s keynote speaker.
The 3rd Annual Poster Showcase is sponsored by Regeneron, General Electric (GE), GlobalFoundries, The Center for Economic Growth (CEG), and CBET (Center for Biopharmaceutical Education and Training) as well as Taconic Biosciences and Neural Stem Cell Institute.
