Marvin Library adds exceptional array of databases to support business, economics and entrepreneurial programs

The Marvin Library has a terrific line up of cutting-edge business, economics and entrepreneurial resources in our repertoire of scholarly research databases. Following extensive research and analyses, the following determinations were made:

  • Albany Business Review (recently introduced) provides full text and digital edition of the Capital District’s weekly business newspaper plus daily updates and its annual Book of Lists.
  • BizMiner provides industry financial ratios and industry market reports useful when developing marketing or business plans. Highly recommended for entrepreneurial studies.
  • Morningstar Investment Research Center  includes information on stocks, mutual funds, variable annuities, closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds, separate accounts, and college savings plans. This database also makes available data used in the financial services industry for conducting research, developing products, and creating communications.
  • Reference USA provides market research, competitive analysis and people locator for business applications and entrepreneurial research.

We welcome your recommendations and
are committed to serving all faculty and students.

Enjoy!
