The Marvin Library Learning Commons will provide basic, virtual services in response to email and voicemail during the week of Dec. 21 – 23 when no classes are in session. The building will be closed.
Any library items due during that week will have due dates extended to January or may be left in the book return slot in the entrance vestibule when the building is closed. No overdue charges will apply.
When classes are not in session, faculty-delivered services in the Dwight Marvin Library and Learning Centers are not provided. This includes the Writing and Research Center, Learning Assistance Center, and some Computer Learning Center services. Therefore, these services are unavailable beginning Saturday, Dec. 19 through Sunday, Jan. 3.
All services will be available and the library building will reopen to current students and employees during Winter Session starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4. For building entry, register at https://libcal.hvcc.edu on the day of entry and complete the daily health check before arrival.
Have a safe and healthy break!
