The Dwight Marvin Library is very pleased to announce the purchase of full access to NYTimes.com for Hudson Valley Community College students and employees for a trial period during spring 2016 semester.
Access is on a “pass basis” with a one day duration.
25 passes per day are available.
To activate your account, please follow these easy steps:
(1) Visit nytimes.com/passes. You will be prompted to create a free NYTimes.com account using your Hudson Valley Community College email address. You also will be prompted to create your own password and specify whether you are a staff member or student.
(2) After this, check your email inbox for a confirmation message. Click on the link in your confirmation message to validate your email address. This is a one time set up requirement.
(3) After setting up an account, you can go directly to NYTimes.com.
(4) Your access pass to the NYTimes.com will last for 24 hours after you log in. To claim a new pass after your current session expires or to view your pass expiration time stamp at any time, again visit NYTimes.com/passes. Please log out when not in use to allow pass access to others.
Now you can enjoy seamless, full access to NYTimes.com, INYT.com and NYT mobile apps from any location, on or off campus, just by logging into your NYTimes.com account. You may also download NYTimes mobile apps at nytimes.com/mobile.
Go ahead, give it a try! We would appreciate your feedback and welcome you to contact us with questions or comments.
Happy reading!
