Susan L. Kutryb, assistant professor, has been named chair of the Mathematics and Engineering Science (MES) Department, beginning fall 2011.
Sue has been a member of the MES department since 1993, first as an adjunct and then as a full-time instructor in 2001.
An active member of the MES department and the college community, Sue has been a student advisor for many years, and is currently the College in the High School Liaison for the MES department. She has served on the college’s Curriculum Committee and Faculty Workshop Day Committee, and is currently a member of NYSMATYC (New York State Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges), where she served as President and Legislative Chair.
In 2010, Sue received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
