The men’s basketball team (1-0) defeated Cayuga Community College (0-3), 82-81, on Saturday afternoon.
Matt Walker (Benjamin Banneker/Brooklyn) came off the bench and scored 25 points to lead the Vikings in the one-point victory. Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton park) recorded 16 points and Casey Hall (Shaker/Albany) added 14 points in the win.
The Vikings played Onondaga Sunday afternoon.
