The men’s basketball team (6-7) lost to #9 Mohawk Valley Community College (14-2), 88-80, on Thursday afternoon.
Matt Walker (Benjamin Banneker/Brooklyn) led the Vikings with 15 points and seven rebounds, and Nate Monson (Cohoes/Cohoes) hit four three-pointers for 12 points. Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) recorded 11 points, and Simon Ohanian (Protestant Francais/Beirut, Lebanon) and Elijah Newsome (Cohoes/Cohoes) each added 10 in the loss.
The men travel to Fulton-Montgomery on Saturday for a game at 1 p.m.
