The men’s soccer team (1-1) defeated Finger Lakes Community College (0-3-1), 1-0, on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings Enea Canaj (Grover Cleveland/Brooklyn) scored in the first half and the Vikings held on for a hard fought 1-0 victory. Goalie Rich Acheson (Columbia/East Greenbush) kept the Vikings in the game recording five saves, earning his first shutout of the year.
The men travel to North Country Community College on Saturday, Sept. 8 for a game at 3 p.m.
