Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Recommendations and the MSCHE Standards
At the close of each Institutional Effectiveness cycle, the AIE Committee develops Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Recommendations, formulated from the assessment of the Core Indicators, college-wide surveys such as the Employee Satisfaction Survey, the Student Satisfaction Survey, and the Student Opinion Survey, and the results presented in the college’s various Strategic Plan reports, including the Retention Plan Update and the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan Update.
The IE Recommendations are broad and institution-wide and address the larger concerns that impact the college and the campus community and part of the annual Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Report.
The four 2020 IE Recommendations align closely with the seven standards set forth by MSCHE (Middle States Commission on Higher Education) as indicated in the crosswalk chart provided here:
