SUNY system representatives are considered to be working with, but not to be members of, the Middle States evaluation teams. Our state representative, Dr. Hildebrand, does not share in the final determination of a team’s recommendation with respect to accreditation. He may participate in campus interviews and in team deliberations, but it is the prerogative of Dr. McDonough to determine the extent to which he contributes to discussions. We consider Fred a valuable expert resource and welcome him to our campus.
