Shout out to Larry Amos and his team and the amazing work they do for our Center for Access and Assistive Technology (CAAT) students. Upon request they ensure special seating is deployed into various classrooms around campus. Larry and his team definitely are contributing to student success!
Shout out to Dr. Peter Sawyer, professor of Sociology, for maximizing community engagement opportunities for students by hosting the HVCC Seal of Civic Readiness conference. Educators from nearly 20 schools came together, learned about this new initiative, and made connections to enhance civic learning. Peter is at the forefront of the college’s efforts to embrace service learning and civic engagement.
Everyone working here is contributing to the tapestry which is HVCC.
