The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Dec. 3, 2019, at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:
Dr. Geehan opened meeting. She provided an update on the Nuventive software. She provided an update on the Middle States Peer Review. The review included one suggestion, but no recommendations. We will be providing a response report to Middle States. Jim Macklin, Dennis Wax and Dr. Geehan will be attending a Middle States conference Dec. 9-11 in Philadelphia.
Committee reviewed the Core Indicators.
— Core Indicator 1.1 Graduation Rate was discussed and it was agreed to keep as Indicator.
— Core Indicator 1.3 Transfer Rate was discussed and it was agreed to keep as Indicator. It was suggested that the CRM might help capture educational goal information.
— Core Indicator 1.5 Transfer and job placement rate was discussed and it was agreed to keep as Indicator. Committee discussed various ways to capture data for this indicator (ex: EMSI, SUNY Portal, career sheets)
— Core Indicator 1.6.1 Professional Licensure/certification passing rates was discussed and it was agreed to keep as Indicator.
— Core Indicator 1.7 Employee Satisfaction was discussed and it was agreed to keep as Indicator. Committee discussed and agreed to move benchmark from 4.50 to 4.00.
