The Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (AIE) Committee met on Sept. 10, 2019, at 1 p.m. The meeting minutes are as follows:
Dr. Geehan opened the meeting at 1 p.m., and provided Middle States and Nuventive software updates and informed the committee that the Strategic Plan and Mission, Vision and Core Values Statements are being voted on at the next Academic Senate meeting.
The meeting continued with a review of the Institutional Effectiveness Recommendations.
Committee agreed with changes made to
- Diversity of faculty and staff on campus
- Student Enrollment, Persistence, Retention, and Graduation
- Assessment
Committee reviewed and made changes to
- Shared Governance and Communication
-In the first sentence replace the word healthy with effective or meaningful.
Committee reviewed and made changes to
- Professional Development, Training, and Succession Planning
-Add New Employee Onboarding piece
Committee agreed to remove this recommendation as great strides were made in this area
- Technology on Campus
The meeting was adjourned at 2 pm.
