More monetary contributions for the New Science Center!

Hudson Valley’s new science center, scheduled to open in the fall of 2013, has received a donation of $50,000 from Marshall & Sterling Insurance, a Poughkeepsie-based company. In addition, UHY Advisors, a tax and business consulting firm based in Albany, has contributed $15,000 to fundraising efforts for the center.

Both gifts are in response to the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation campaign to raise approximately $2 million to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for the new building, according to Ray Kimmelblatt, executive director of the Foundation.
