The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee will hold a press event in the I parking lot, north of North Road on campus, this morning at 10 a.m. The backdrop for the event will be a New York State Motorcycle Safety Program rider safety course, which the college has offered for more than 20 years.
In attendance will be: Chuck DeWeese, Assistant Commissioner for Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee; Mike Riecke, victim advocate and father of Chris Riecke, who died as a result of a motorcycle crash; and Rensselaer County Sheriff Patrick Russo.
