Freshman outfielder Eric Mueller (Bethlehem/Glenmont) earned the 2014 NJCAA Baseball Marucci Elite Hitters Award. Marucci Elite Hitter awards are presented to the All-America nominee from each district with the highest batting average, and Mueller was one of only 28 recipients of the award at the Division I, II and III levels.
Mueller led the team in batting with a .435 average, where he led all of Region 3 and finished in the Top-20 Nationally. He also led the team with nine doubles, six triples, 25 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases. Mueller has signed on to play baseball next season at the University at Albany.
