The Alpha Xi Sigma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international academic honor society for two-year colleges, recognizes and promotes scholarship, develops leadership, encourages service and cultivates fellowship among qualified students of the college.
For a student to be eligible to join our chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the following requirements must be met:
– be a matriculated student
– have completed at least 12 degree bearing credits
– have a Cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher
Once a student meets the eligibility requirements, the next semester the student is matriculated and registered, the student will receive an invitation to join. Phi Theta Kappa invites students in the fall and spring semesters only.
