ProjectSpace 320 is pleased to host Model Spaces: Scale Exhibitions from the Introduction to Gallery Management Class.
The new exhibition will be on view through April 29. It features two, half-inch scale, exhibitions curated and created by students in the Fall 2024 Introduction to Gallery Management class (ARTS 150) taught by Professor Tara Fracalossi.
The students in the class worked collaboratively to curate, organize and develop thematic “museum” exhibitions featuring work by 10 to 15 established artists. In addition to researching and selecting the artists and works for the exhibits, the student curatorial teams also developed budgets and education programs, researched grants, and wrote descriptions of the shows that culminated in a final power point “proposal” that included the models presented in this exhibition.
The students who worked together on Model Spaces are Meredith Bingham, Sara Blackwell, Madeline Gregoire, Donald Jackson, Orion Moylan and Nova Vath.
Project Space 320 is located within the AMZ 317 Drawing Studio and is open to visitors from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays.
