The Center for Distance and Online Learning is here to help.
Whether you are preparing your course for the migration to D2L Brightspace, or getting ready for your last semester on Blackboard this upcoming Spring 2023, there is a training, open lab, or consultation opportunity available for you.
For those who have participated in the Migration Preparation Sessions already (and thank you to the over 200 folks who have), we are offering OPEN LABS for customized and focused support in the preparation of your migration shells. These OPEN LABS are available on Zoom or F2F in BTC 1033. We have a new schedule every two weeks with varying time slots to make sure we can coordinate with everybody’s schedules. If you want to attend and do not see a time slot that works for you, please let us know your availability so we can add that to the next schedule.

If you have NOT attended a Migration Preparation Session, please sign up as soon as you can — you will need to have your Blackboard content in a migration shell in order to move it to the new D2L Brightspace LMS. We anticipate the migration to D2L Brightspace to begin in late January, so please do not delay.
The times and dates for the next two weeks of Migration Preparation Sessions are below.

Like many of you, we are disappointed by the inability to support drop-ins and unscheduled visits as we have in the past. This move to a new LMS , involving the entire campus, is too large of an enterprise to manage those spontaneous visits we have valued and truly enjoyed over the years. We are hoping this new and extensive support schedule, with forms and appointments and labs, and our ongoing and careful planning, will ensure you get what you need with a skilled Instructional Designer to guide you through this major campus-wide transition.
