New TV spots: That’s Bold

 

If you happened to see a drone flying around campus in late September, you now can view the new TV commercials produced with footage filmed using the unmanned aerial vehicle.

The “That’s Bold” theme of the new commercials expands the college’s “Be bold. Be a Viking” branding with a new twist. (That’s Bold is already being used in digital and print advertising, as well as in recruitment publications.) The new spots challenge prospective students and families to base college choice on facts, not popular opinion, and to consider the tremendous value Hudson Valley offers.

Hudson Valley students, as always, enthusiastically volunteered  to serve as actors over the two days. The 30-second commercial is now airing on local network and cable channels. The 15-second spots are airing on targeted web sites and YouTube.

The college’s office of Communications and Marketing worked with the Idea Agency, its advertising/marketing partner, Graphics and Viking Video Technologies to create the commercials.
