Yes, it is true! Any faculty or staff member (college official) may initiate the nomination process for a deserving student to be included in the publication, Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges 2010-2011.
Being named to Who’s Who is among the most prestigious honors a student can receive.
To be considered for the competitive recognition, students must have completed 24 credit hours at Hudson Valley Community College by the end of the fall 2010 semester; have matriculated; have a 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA at the end of the fall 2010 semester, and demonstrated active participation or leadership in extracurricular activities and/or voluntary community service while enrolled at Hudson Valley Community College. (GPAs and credit hours will be confirmed at the end of the fall 2010 semester.)

If you know of a student who meets the criteria to be considered for this honor, please complete the nomination form and bring it to the Office of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Development, Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 159, by Dec. 1.
