The Academic Senate Election Committee is calling for nominations for the current vacancies on the Academic Senate and the following Standing Committees of the Senate.
Senate vacancies:
Adjunct position for term ending in 2013
Faculty position for the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences for term ending in 2013
Committee vacancies:
Instructional Resources Committee – 2 Faculty positions for terms ending in 2012 and 2013
Planning Committee – 2 Faculty positions for terms ending in 2013
Elections Committee – 1 Faculty position for term ending in 2012
Anyone wishing to run for one of these positions can be nominated by anyone or can nominate themselves. The committee will follow up with a request for acceptance of the nomination.
The following link will take you to the Academic Website where you can find information concerning the duties of the Senate and the various standing committees.
The period for nominations opens on Thursday, Sept. 30 and closes the following Thursday, Oct. 7.
