The NYS Department of Transportation will host a community discussion about the Troy Menands Bridge corridor, part of the Troy Menands Bridge Planning and Environmental Linkage (PEL) study) and reconfiguring the NYS Route 378 and Route 32 (Broadway) Interchange.
All are welcome to attend the Tuesday, June 10 meeting to be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Menands School Gymnasium at 19 Wards Lane in Menands.
This meeting will focus on the western segment of the NY RouteĀ 378 corridor, from I-787 to NY Route 377 (Van Rensselaer Blvd.), creating a direct bicycle and pedestrian connection between Menands and South Troy, and reconfiguring the NY Route 378 and NY Route 32 (Broadway) interchange and ramps. These changes have the potential to significantly improve the local infrastructure and enhance the quality of life in the Capital Region.
The meeting will allow the DOT to share information, gather feedback, and discuss options and potential impacts to the local communities. All public input will be documented and become part of the official Troy Menands Bridge PEL record for future project phases.
