Lieutenant Governor of New York State Antonio Delgado toured the HVCC North campus on Aug. 31 to learn more about the history of TEC-SMART, the HVCC North expansion and workforce training efforts taking place in Saratoga County.
The tour began at the new STEM Education Center and continued to TEC-SMART with demonstrations in semiconductor manufacturing and visits to mechatronics labs and classrooms serving college students, workforce training programs and the Clean Tech Early College High School, a P-TECH partnership.
During the visit, the lieutenant governor met with students and GlobalFoundries apprentices, college leaders and faculty, trustees and high school administrators.
