The Human Services and Chemical Dependency Counseling Department is pleased to announce the re-accreditation of its Chemical Dependency degree program by the NYS Office of Addictions Services and Supports (OASAS). The program received a three-year re-accreditation that will expire in June 2025.
The program offers an AAS degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling, as well as a micro-credential for those interested in completing the educational requirements to become a CASAC-T (Credential for Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling-Trainee). The department is extremely proud of the program’s 90 percent job placement rate upon graduation.
