Office of Workforce Development offers AutoCAD – Basics course beginning June 3

 

AutoCAD — Basics

Just what is AutoCAD and how can it help you in your present or future job? Learn the fundamentals of design with AutoCAD tools and how to use them for specific design tasks.

The Office of Workforce Development Institute is offering the following non-credit, evening course:

AutoCAD – Basics 
June 3 – June 20, 2019
Mondays & Tuesdays,  5:30 – 9 p.m.
Thursdays, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Explore the skills needed to produce 2D drawings, create custom templates, CAD plotting and layout, advanced CAD commands and file management, block, external references and the creation of libraries, as well as how to complete complex drawings.

Prerequisites: A 10th grade reading and math skill levels. Students should have proficient computer skills, be familiar with mouse operations and navigating the Windows operating system.
