Students enrolled in Hudson Valley Community College’s Workforce Development Institute will now be able to take solar training courses at reduced fees thanks to a $25,000 investment from Cypress Creek Renewables. This investment will help provide reduced course fees for students interested in solar job training, with a focus on bringing more women, veterans and underrepresented people into the industry. This course provides the necessary foundation in electricity needed for the Photovoltaics (PV) field and is eligible for funding.

WDI has a training course that covers critical entry-level electrical skills.
